My camera is broken

I discovered my camera's brokenness a few days after we got home from Colorado.  August 19th, to be exact.  We went to the park.  The pictures all turned out like this:

When my camera broke, I decided to save the last of the pictures I took in Colorado.  The following were taken of Dillon on August 13, the day we left to come home.  The dancing videos are also from that day.  Make sure you watch Dillon learning the worm.  He's perfected it now, but his first attempts are probably funnier than his current execution.

These were taken on September 19th in Keokuk. We went up with Nonna to take pictures of Poppa's beautiful Bed and Breakfast. She had to go with us so I could use her camera.  Mine is broken.  I'm really very sad.  If you have any idea what might be wrong with it, please, venture a guess.  It is a Nikon d40.

Birthday party 2

Donuts for breakfast, big helium balloons, swimming, Wendy's for lunch, a dance party with presents, cheesecake, and 700 balloons. Not bad for a birthday on the road.

Mark and his brother spent the morning blowing up balloons. They filled an entire bedroom, over halfway to the ceiling. After the party, they filled the stairwell to the basement, and the big boys rode down the stairs on mattresses, into the balloons. I confess I took a ride myself, although, I was smart enough to go down with Mark in front of me, so he could be the one to run into the wall at the bottom.

Dillon had a wonderful day, which is all that matters to me. We want to thank Daddy for all the hard work, Tutu (Dillon's paternal maternal great grandmother) and DJ, and the M family, for coming to his party, and, of coarse, Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncle D for their love and hospitality.
