Dillon's blessing was on Halloween. No significance. Halloween fell on a Sunday, and Dillon's Grandma and Grandpa Valentine, Great-Grandma Tutu (and Don), and his Uncles Craig and David were able to come that particular weekend. We had a lovely time. Dillon was absolutely taken with Tutu, who was the first great-grandparent he has met. She had him oohing and ahing, and cooing and cahing.
The blessing was beautiful. Our little Dillon is just as special as we knew he must be and is going to be a blessing in many lives.
Here's Dillon in his blessing outfit (or "dandy suit"), Dillon with his Grandma and Grandpa Valentine, and Dillon getting a belly pat from his Uncle Craig. Ah, the belly pat.

And just who wouldn't want to pat that belly?!! ;) Careen he's huge! I can't imagine having to carry him around especially in the infant car seat until he's one. That said, I think the huge babies are the cutest!
Congratulations Mark and Careen!
I love these pictures of Dillon in his blessing clothes. What a handsome little guy.
Tell him hi from Aunty M!
