...I cut my hair.
In more interesting news, Dillon got to go to his first Easter egg hunt today. A big thanks to the L family who let the ward terrorize their backyard, and for giving Dillon a diaper when he peed all over the two of us. Ironic, how that doesn't happen for months, but when I am stranded at a party without a car or a diaper bag, it does. Hmmm...
Anyway, it was actually kind of a disaster. What was supposed to be a fun family outing ended up being me, alone, having no idea when Mark would get back, with a 30lb baby who was all too rapidly approaching bedtime and insisted on being held CONSTANTLY. Mark gets called on for church things at the last minute a lot. But, usually, I don't end up stranded when it happens. I'm afraid I didn't handle the whole thing very well. Dillon doesn't understand sustaining Daddy in his church callings, and that sometimes makes it harder for me. Someday, I will be a mature and graceful person that patiently takes everything in stride. But, until then, I console myself with the knowledge and the confidence that I am an AWESOME mom. Awesome.
Look at me here, being an AWESOME mom. (Note: We took 3 family pictures. Dillon and Daddy weren't looking in any of them. We'll try again next week.)

Your hair looks beautiful! And your babys eyes are so blue! Happy Easter! We are hoping to come visit this summer! I would love to see you!
Love the hair. Love the boy. Love the mom.
All in good time...I have thought the same many times in the last two years serving in our stake & ward with both Steve and my callings. Law school never made me feel like a single mom but sometimes his Church calling duties do ;)
You look great! My hair keeps getting put on the back burner...it's a mess :)
