Dillon Friedrich Valentine
After 27 hours of labor, Dillon was born on 6 Aug 2010, at 11:01am. He weighed 8lbs 12oz. Mom and baby both had a rough labor (and Mom is facing a pretty rough recovery), but both are healthy and happy. We are so grateful for the safe arrival of our precious baby boy. He is already making us smile and wonder what we ever did without him.

Beautiful pictures! What a precious bundle! I had a tough recovery as well, so if you need to complain to someone who gets a bad labor and recovery just call me up. Let me know if I can do anything for you! I can't wait to hold him someday! :)
I'll take a call for complaints too. He is perfect Careen! And I think it's safe to say he's not the mail man's or the milk man's but definitely Mark's son :)

He is beautiful! Congratulations and I hope you feel lots better soon. People always talked like the labor was the worst part of having a baby--but I thought it was the recovery! Nobody even mentioned that being bad. What a cute little guy!

Beautiful beautiful beautiful! And yeah, recovery is a beast. My petite frame plus a crooked baby plus forceps = pain. But I wasn't in labor nearly as long as you. Anyway, you look fantastic and I can't wait to see all the cute pictures I know you'll take of him.
